Refund Policy

Scope

This policy applies to paid technical analysis training offered by Backend Service Architect—cohorts, labs, and private mentorship for support and resistance mapping. It does not cover products, physical goods shipping, or payment checkout on this website, because enrollment fees are arranged off-site after confirmation.

Eligibility

Refund requests must come from the person named on the enrollment confirmation and must be sent to studio@backendservicearchitect.digital with your full name, training path, and cohort or mentorship dates.

Timeframe for full refund

If you cancel in writing at least fourteen (14) days before the published start date of a cohort or lab, you are eligible for a full refund of tuition paid, minus any non-refundable deposit stated in your confirmation (if applicable).

Partial refund

Cancellations received between thirteen (13) and five (5) days before the start date may receive a partial refund of fifty percent (50%) of tuition paid, provided materials unique to your seat have not already been prepared. Inside five days, tuition is generally non-refundable except where required by law or as noted under exceptions.

Private mentorship

Private sessions cancelled with at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice may be rescheduled once at no charge. Sessions cancelled later, or no-shows, are forfeited. Unused sessions remaining after the mentorship window stated in your agreement are not refundable as cash unless we cancel the engagement.

Non-refundable items

• Deposits marked non-refundable in your enrollment confirmation
• Third-party platform fees we cannot recover
• Sessions already delivered
• Custom chart templates or written audits already completed for you

Work already started

Once live sessions have begun, refunds are limited to unused future sessions only when we cancel the remaining program or when Korean consumer rules require otherwise. Peer review slots and recordings already released count as delivered value.

Purchased materials

Digital templates and recordings included in tuition are licensed for personal use. Separately purchased material packs, if any, are non-refundable after download links are sent.

Rescheduling

Cohort transfers to a later date of the same path may be requested once, subject to seat availability and a written request at least seven (7) days before the original start. Mentorship rescheduling follows the forty-eight-hour rule above.

No-shows

Failure to attend a live session without timely notice does not create a refund right. Recordings, when included in your path, remain available for the stated access window.

Refund method and processing time

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within fourteen (14) business days after approval. Bank processing times may vary.

How to request

Email studio@backendservicearchitect.digital or call +82-1-543-3179 with “Refund request” in the subject. We confirm receipt within three business days and state the outcome and amount.

Exceptions

We may offer alternative remedies—credit toward a future cohort or makeup sessions—when illness, documented emergencies, or studio cancellations interrupt training. Credits are typically valid for twelve months.
