Invalidation Without Drama
Define the candle, wick, and close rules that retire a zone so you stop negotiating with a broken map.
Traders lose hours renegotiating broken maps. Invalidation should be boring: a candle rule, a close rule, and a retirement action written before the session.
Write it once
Example: “If a session closes beyond the far side of this zone on the 1H, the zone is retired and may only return after a fresh reaction sequence.” The sentence removes emotion. Mentorship often starts by rewriting these rules until they survive a losing week.
